Incredible early years!
This book is an amazing account of God's providential care and love that will challenge everyone to take a look at their own lives to see where God has carried them through difficult times. The author has shared intimate thoughts and feelings about growing up in an impoverished family that will touch you like nothing else you have ever read. She clearly understands how God had a plan for her life all along and she is able to give God the praise and glory for every circumstance of her life. I was deeply moved by her story and I highly recommend this book.
You will laugh and you will cry as you travel through Marilyn’s childhood stories and recognize God’s providential care in her life as she grows into adulthood. This inspiring collection of vivid memories and events takes you through her challenging early ages and into her faith-filled years as a wife, a mom, and a successful business woman. As I read the pages, I couldn’t help but reflect on my own relationships with significant people in my life. Perhaps her life stories will inspire you to acknowledge your own Ebenezer Stones. The stories are short, fun, and engaging. So good, in fact, that I purchased a stack of these books for Christmas gifts!
